Poppy Seed is part of the Spice Rack sock yarn collection by West Yorkshire Spinners.
The superb Signature 4ply is made using a blend of wool that includes 35% Bluefaced Leicester for a luxurious feel, with a twist of nylon for added strength.
This makes it ideal for projects such as hard-wearing socks, or stylish shawls with fantastic drape and softness. This yarn comes in a wide choice of solid shades including vibrant tones, classic colours and natural hues to suit all styles and stitches, whether you’re knitting plain, cable, rib or lace.
One ball is usually enough to make a pair of socks.

Such a great sock yarn—fun colours, and the yarn is resilient but soft (and gets softer with blocking). I bought a couple of plain colours to go with a variegated yarn, and they go together beautifully!

Cayenne Pepper is a gorgeous scarlet red. Designed to colour match with some of the Country Birds colour ways. Soft, nice to knit. Highly recommend.
